2nd Round, Kirkham vs St Annes crown green bowling.

Venue is the Conservative Club, Ribby Road, Kirkham, PR4 2BB.
The venue will be providing catering for the team players on the evening. The venue will not be providing bowling sets so members must be able to provide their own.
The current team consists of David Thow, David Kirby, Ray Lee, Eric Murphy, Dave Thomas, Richard Cookson and Alan Wilman.
THE RULES.
Flat or Crown Green. The Semis & the Final may be played twice, one on each. Indoor or outdoors.
Teams of 5, 6 or ideally 7 players. 3 singles and 2 doubles (5 games). If a team has 5 or 6 players, 1 or 2 players play a single and a double game (not 2 singles) and the opposing team captain draws lots to see who plays twice.
The team winning most games wins. Each game is first to 21. Nearest ball(s) to jack get 1 point. In doubles, the winning team of previous end leads off, opponent plays, then each play second ball, then the other two players bowl in turn.
