Our annual general knowledge competition for secondary schools in the Wyre area
Three schools entered our annual General Knowledge quiz. Teams from Cardinal Allen, Millfield and St Aidan's provided teams of four studentls, one each from years 7, 8, 9 and 10. Ten rounds of questions searched the intellect of the teams wsith topics ranging from Science, History, Literature and Geography to Maths Films and Music.
The quiz was keenly contested with the lead regularly changing hands and the result in doubt until the very last question. After much scrutiny and careful checking the winners were declared as St Aidan's by a single point from Cardinal Allen.
