Inspiring Talk - Never meant to suceed

Tue, May 26th 2026 at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Mike Seery will tell us about his career after an unlikely start.

“An unlikely success in a field full of failures” describes a career that began in Accrington, leaving school at 16 and qualifying by 22. He went on to become a Partner at one of the UK’s leading firms, building his career in insolvency — a discipline where outcomes are rarely straightforward and judgement is critical.

In this talk, he shares a direct account of that journey, focusing on progression, decision-making, and the realities of working in high-pressure situations.
