Lunch - Ross Shekleton - MD of Metro Metals will talk about recycling

Ross will cover a brief history of the family business that was started over 60 years in Burnley. Moving on to an explanation of how the industry works together with its environmental role and importance in a modern society.


Every wondered what happens after you've filled your recycling bin.  Come along to this talk and find out!

We currently have 4 primary schools with active Rotakids' clubs. St Andrews, St Pauls, Hippings and White Ash specialist school

Our main local environment project is the improvement of Tinker Brook woodland. We also have the Purple Garden project, (Purple 4Polio) set in Rhyddings Park. Plus environmental work with our Rotakids clubs. Regular litter-picks.
