Carnforth v Furness Peninsula

Yesterday evening, Carnforth Rotary welcomed members of Furness Peninsula for Round 1 of the District Quiz.

After a flying start, Carnforth slowed down and Furness Peninsula speeded up. However, Carnforth stayed in the lead, finally winning by 20 points.

It was an enjoyable evening and our thanks go to The Royal Station Hotel Carnforth, Quiz Master - Alan Garrick, Scorer- George Wilson, Timer - John Blowes, everyone from Furness Peninsula who travelled the long distance in extremely poor weather, and Carnforth members.
