When the idea of the partnership was given the go ahead by the District Governor, Pam Holgate, it seemed a good idea to have a logo to use for the project.
Peter Brooks contacted Helen Ashton - who he knew was an artist and had links to dementia support to create a logo that could be used for the project.
Helen was already a partner on the project and keen to put her creativity to good use.
The design is based on feathers- a remembrance of people, the colours chosen are blue and gold to reflect Rotary with pink and sky blue to represent Dementia UK the red heart is in celebration and remembrance of Helen Mums who had dementia.
