Speakers

Do you have something you'd like to talk to our club’s members about in an after lunch, fifteen to twenty minutes talk/presentation? Our Club welcomes approaches from speakers addressing informational, educational or public-awareness issues.

Thank you for your interest in serving as a guest speaker and sharing your expertise or experience at a meeting of the Rotary Club of Dumfries.

We get together every Wednesday evening around 6.30 at The Buccleuch & Queensberry Arms Hotel, 112 Drumlanrig Street, Thornhill DG3 5LU Scotland

Our meeting commences at pm  6.45with Club Business before dinner is served.

Dinner is main course with tea or coffee and is on us.

Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements. Dinner finishes about 13.35 and this allows our speaker 15 – 20 minutes before we conclude the meeting with final Club announcements, aiming to finish promptly at 9.00pm.

If you are planning to use PowerPoint or similar you are welcome to bring your own equipment or we can support with our club laptop.  We will provide a projector and screen.

If you have time, feel free to stay after the meeting for members who wish to stay longer and ask questions or just chat to you.

Our club has approximately 20 members and guests in attendance at any given meeting.

If you would like to join us please reach out using the contact us link below.

We are a friendly group and look forward to welcoming you
