New Member Amy Muirhead

President Liz and Rotarian Micheal Keene welcomes new member Amy Muirhead


At a recent meeting The Rotary Club of Thornhill and District welcomed their newest member to the club, Amy Muirhead was introduced to Rotary by Micheal Keene  a number of months ago and she soon decided that it was for her.  

Amy’s ventures in small farm gate enterprises became a very useful knowledge base on leaving Wallace Hall Academy in 2012 to begin her accountancy studies in Glasgow. 

She was Cornet’s Lass in Dumfries in 2015, and after graduating a year later took some time out to travel to Australia and New Zealand. Work with her father’s haulage business in Lesmahagow followed, gaining an HGV licence in the process! In 2017 she returned to Dumfries to work with David Allen Accountancy, and has now settled in Dunscore.
