Rotary at World of Jobs event

The Rotary Club of Thornhill and District were involved at Wallace Hall Primary School recently where a World of Work event was held. Rotarians Ed Hunter, Sharon Glendinning, Andy MacKay and Keith Shedden set up their stands in the school hall. Our expertise of aeronautical engineering, project management, catering and journalism fitted well with the representatives from more than 30 trades and professions.

Penny Graham, principal teacher - primary employability, who organised the event said: “We have had lots of positive feedback from the pupils, staff and visitors who attended. There was a fantastic amount of effort put in by all our visitors and it was a very valuable experience for our pupils. It wouldn’t have been possible without you.”
