At a recent meeting of the Thornhill and District Rotary Club, Ian Morrison was installed as President of the club for the year 2016-2017. Ian who has lived in Thornhill for a number of years was until recently Chief Engineer for P & O Ferries on their Cairnryan to Larne route.
In accepting the chain of office from outgoing President Gordon Steele, Ian said ‘This is a real honour to take over the Presidency of the club for the coming year. I would very much like to build on the contribution recent presidents have made in ensuring the club continues to serve our communities both here at home and overseas. I am very much looking forward to my year as President’.
