A great day for the third annual Social Walk.
Rotarians and wives took a gentle stroll from Wanlockhead Museum up above the Stake Hill reservoir and round to Leadhills. Just 5.5 miles and only 600 feet of climb to get some super views of the moorlands and the fascinating villages perched between Lanarkshire and Dumfriesshire.
Rounded off by refreshments in the museum cafe courtesy of Heather and her staff. Even ice cream was on offer. A place to go again and do the railway trip and the museum, mine visit etc.
