A great annual Christmas Dinner, enjoyed by all, sadly missed by some, closed out 2012 for Rotary.
The entertainment followed a now customary style except Derek missed out in the managers selection - too much talent in Rotary these days!
The new script for Trevor's offering perhaps deliberately missed out a few members but of the chosen few at least one has right of reply or is it revenge?. (NB Trevor, the Webmaster needs the full words for all to enjoy this innovative song so we can reconsider the best jokes in there.)
Brian had obviously trawled his usual sources to surpass last year's depths of the comedy web and kept it clean and wholesome whilst Peter had us reflecting on the world's ills and injustice. Who ever said that Rotarians were narrowminded.
Thanks to Graeme for managing this disparate group and all our performers who let the rest of us just enjoy ourselves without a job to do. And to the kind festive donation from Joan. A lot of work, much appreciated especially helping our 5 A Day at this time of fat, fat and more fat.
Could we all return our stockings otherwise Gordon will be bare footed next week.
And finally to Ian and the staff of the Auldgirth Inn who have done us proud since April sincere thanks to everyone. It was good to see the Treasurer guarding the club's meagre funds but why is it the paparazzi now keep getting photos of the President getting up close and personal with attractive ladies?
Festive Greetings all. No web changes now until 2013.
