Around 100 senior citizens from mid and upper Nithsdale recently enjoyed an evening of musical entertainment provided by talented young students from Wallace Hall Academy. The event which took place in the school's Bailey Hall was organised by Rotarians from the Thornhill and District Club.
Ian Morrison, Community Convenor at the Rotary club said 'It was an excellent evening of entertainment. The Wallace Hall students really did their audience proud with their wide range of musical entertainment. I know that their efforts were very much appreciated by their audience.'
