Thornhill & District RC attended the SW Area annual dinner at Threave Gardens recently and judging by the photo had a convivial night. The guest speaker was Alex Ferguson, Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament who spoke about aspects of their activities in a manner both informative and entertaining. Not an easy task but certainly achieved with aplomb.
The group were pleased to have in their company Mr Mark Wale, a Canadian Rotary curler, over for a few days in our region.
