Purple for Polio

World Polio Day
On 24th October we publicised World Polio Day with both a collection at Sainsbury's and lighting strategic places in Rhyl purple.
As well as the promenade, the Sky Tower, the waterfall, the bridges, the theatre and restaurant the Craft Centre in Ruthin were all lit purple, thanks to secretary John and Denbighshire Leisure.
The collection was forwarsed to Rotary Foundation where it will be tripled thanks to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
