Llandrillo College Award

At our meeting on 14th October we were delighted to present an award together with a cheque for £150 to the outstanding student of the year in the Catering Section of Llandrillo College. 

We have been presenting this for over 30 years now and this years recipient was Hugo Loh. He was eventually chosen after great deliberation from a shortlist of two by the head of the catering section, Mike Garner and his team.

He was chosen not only for his excellent college work, but also for his willingness to help and encourage his fellow students.

He was accompanied at the meeting by his mum and said how proud and delighted he was to receive this award.

Next year's award will be made early and this time at the college when we hold our 100th Charter anniversary celebration in the Mountain View Restaurant at the college on Friday 8th May 2026.
