On Friday evening on 4th October 2024 a fish and chip supper was enjoyed by members of the Rotary Club of Rhyl in support of Rhyl RNLI. It was held to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the founding of the RNLI, during which time hundreds of lives have been saved by this organisation in the UK. It is manned totally by volunteers and relies completely on charitable donations. A cheque for £100 was presented by the club president John Dicks. The supper was supplied by Les & Rita's, one of the best 'chippies' in North Wales and a most enjoyable evening was had by all in support of this very worthwhile cause.
