A garden party for Rhyl Rotarians and guests was held at the home of Rotarian Chris Smith on the afternoon of 17th August.
A lovely setting overlooking the Elwy Valley was attended by about 30 Rotarians and their guests who thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship at the party, no doubt encouraged by the food and drink on offer!
Although a little chilly, fortunately the weather stayed dry.
Special thanks go to Rotarians Tracey and Sharon for organising the day and supplying and preparing the copious amounts of food on offer and of course to Chris for the use of his house and garden.
A raffle was held and together with the proceeds from the ticket sales, several hundred pounds was raised to be split between Rhyl Samaritans and Rotary charities.
We're looking forward to doing it again in the future.
