Charity fundraising walk by past ADG Howard Ferdinando described in his own words: I completed the first day of a two day walk today - Glan Clwyd Hospital to Mostyn Hall, via Rhuddlan, Dyserth, and lots of overgrown footpaths and countless stiles. A large number of school children took part for the first couple of miles, Glan Clwyd to Rhuddlan Castle. Some others joined us for the Trelawnyd to Mostyn stretch. Lord Mostyn joined us for part of the walk, and he then gave us tea at Mostyn Hall. Picture is of me at Mostyn Hall, with Mike & Jules Peters and Lord Mostyn. I've raised around £1,700 for the charity. In all, for the 10 days that Mike & Jules are walking, culminating with "Snowdon Rocks" on Saturday, they aim to raise in excess of £300,000. Second day tomorrow - should be an easy flat walk of just 12 miles, Rhyl to Colwyn Bay.
