Press Release 11 January 2026

A big thank you from Llandudno Rotary

Members of Rotary Llandudno were recently out and about in the Parc Llandudno retail park collecting money for their community work.

Thanks to generous donations from locals and visitors we raised over £400. Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat, gave generously, or simply supported us with a smile, all much appreciated in the winter weather.

The money will help us carry out our projects for the good of the community this year. Last year we raised funds for our Community Chest which supports local community groups. From the Community chest we awarded £2,000 in grants to seven local groups.

We led work to ensure town defibrillators are checked and ready to save lives through our Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest Programme, in partnership with Save a Life Cymru. We helped set up an Ysgol Aberconwy Mental Health Project providing pupils, parents and carers with practical guidance.

We will be continuing our work this year to help make Llandudno and the surrounding area, an even better place to live, but we couldn’t do it without your support.

If you’d like to give back to Llandudno in 2026, we’d love to welcome you. For more information about Rotary Club of Llandudno and how to get involved, please visit www.llandudnorotary.org.
