Bala Challenge Walks

Sat, May 9th 2026 at 8:00 am - 10:00 am

The "Bala Challenge 2026" offers 8, 14, or 20-mile routes around Bala Lake in Snowdonia, Wales,

The Bala Challenge 2026 is being attempted by two of our members this year both collecting for two different projects.

Ashok - who has done the walk many times before and is attempting to walk 14 miles with a friend. They are collecting for the Rotary Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest Programme (ROHCAP) which  is Llandudno Rotary's Defibrillator project.

ROHCAP has adopted 15 defibs in the Llandudno area, Provides free CPR and defibrillator training and intends to raise funds for the purchase of new defibs in areas that are not covered by the existing devices.

A worthy cause that has hopefully been successful in saving 8 lives and trained over 200 people to save lives.
