REPORT from Mike Perry
On Tuesday last 20th Oct, a group of Ten-Pin players from Prestatyn Ten-Pin group stepped carefully into the maze of passages and bars of Penrhyn Old Hall, having been challenged by the Llandudno Rotary Club for skittles.
Any similarity with Ten-Pin bowling was quickly dispelled as the small wooden ball was handed to the visiting teams' Captain, none other than Rotarian Mike Perry. It was initially intended that the evening competition was for singles but it soon became obvious that it was Llandudno Rotarians versus Prestatyn Ten Pin.
Not easy!!! There were no strings to put the skittles back kin place!!! Several players from both teams showed their accuracy, John New and Steve Butler for Rotary and Richard Fitzpatrick and his father Neil for Ten-Pin. After a keen match, Rotary won 2 - 1, but the challengers became the challenged, and a return Ten-Pin game at Prestatyn Bowl is planned.

Report from John New and Da\n Worsley
On Tuesday, 20th October, a group of between 17 and 20 Rotarians and friends had an enjoyable evening at Penrhyn Old Hall playing at our annual skittles night
Dan Worsley won the the first game but failed to maintain his winning streak . The second winner was from Prestatyn 10 pin bowling club who was easily able to adapt to the different format and the final game was won by Liz from the Great Orme Exploration The Great Orme Exploration Society
An unsung heroine of the evening was Gill Butler , probably the best player there, but who was very unlucky in that whenever it was her turn there was repeatedly only one skittle to aim at. She kept knocking them down but, in the end, she was defeated
A vote of thanks was given by Dan to Guy Marsh for the successful running of the evening.
The pics below show Ashok Harshey (left) and Steve Butler (right_) in deep thought before delivering that killer bowl ( or at least that had been the plan!)
