Major efforts to eradicate polio and support good causes around the world start here.
This committee has one big fundraising event and is involved in many other activities and is cooperating with the President on the Purple Crocus campaign, both of which support the eradication of polio throughout the world.
This seemingly impossible task is now just about done. Africa has been declared polio free as there have been no cases for three years. Afghanistan is also coming close to being clear but Pakistan is still a problem. These are the final areas to be cleared of this terrible sickness.
Other campaigns include Shelterbox and LifeStraw assistance to countries suffering from flooding, earthquakes and other disasters.
