Presentation of a Paul Harris Fellow Award to Tim Webb
Tim Webb was nominated for a Paul Harris Fellow Award by five members of the club and the Paul Harris Award Committee were unanimous in their agreement and support for this award. Tim joined Rotary in 1993 and was Club President from 2002 to 2003. Currently Tim is serving as the Club’s Minutes Secretary, a role to which he has brought both accuracy and speed.
In his nomination of Tim, Hamilton Grantham wrote the following:
Tim has been a Rotarian for many, many years and has always been a clear example to everyone both within the club and outside of how service above self is at the heart of the Club and all it does. He has worked tirelessly to try and inform and improve the development of the club - his endless mission, every year, for Rotary Club of Denbigh to win the District Quiz, being a prime example of his determination and ability to never give up. He has chronicled many trips and is an endless source of knowledge about the Club, locality and indeed almost everything. He has served on council many times and held many senior positions within the club, always undertaking his roles with diligence and good humour. He has been an ambassador for the club amongst many local groups. Outside of Rotary he has been noteworthy for his various voluntary roles including being chair of the Denbigh Flower show. In summary, Tim has been and continued to be an example of Rotary values both in his service to the Club and throughout his abundant voluntary and other works.
The award was made by this year’s Rotary Distict Governor covering Denbigh, Beth Murray.
Congratulations Tim!

Mae Tim wedi bod yn Rotariad ers sawl blwyddyn ac mae bob amser wedi bod yn esiampl glir i bawb o fewn y clwb a thu allan i sut mae gwasanaeth uwchlaw’r hunan wrth galon y Clwb a’r cyfan mae’n ei wneud. Mae wedi gweithio’n ddiflino i geisio llywio a gwella datblygiad y clwb – ei genhadaeth ddiddiwedd, bob blwyddyn, i Glwb Rotari Dinbych ennill Cwis y Rhanbarth, yn enghraifft wych o’i benderfyniad a’i allu i beidio byth â rhoi’r ffidil yn y to. Mae wedi croniclo llawer o deithiau ac yn ffynhonnell ddiddiwedd o wybodaeth am y Clwb, yr ardal ac yn wir bron popeth. Mae wedi gwasanaethu ar Gyngor y Clwb sawl gwaith ac wedi dal llawer o swyddi uwch o fewn y clwb, bob amser yn cyflawni ei rolau gyda diwydrwydd a hiwmor da.
