Gwerthwyd cyfanswm o 411 o docynnau gyda phob tocyn yn prynu dwy bêl wedin ei rhifo. Felly gosodwyd cyfanswm o 822 o beli mewn bwced peiriant cloddio a'u tipio allan ar Stryd y Dyffryn yn ystod y cyfnod cau y ffordd ar gyfer parêd y Carnifal a chaniatawyd iddynt ffeindio eu ffordd i lawr cyn belled â siop Lidl lle caniatawyd un bêl yn unig i mewn i'r bwced fuddugol.
Y bêl fuddugol oedd rhif 0589 a brynwyd yn enw Dafydd Baker. Disgwylir y bydd yr elw ar ôl costau ychydig dros £1,700 a fydd yn cael ei rannu rhwng Carnifal Dinbych a Chlwb Pêl-droed Iau Dinbych.
What a wonderful day we had on the Denbigh Rotary Club ‘Roll the Barrel’ stand this year at the Denbigh Carnival. Over eighty youngsters from age 3 years to 15 years took part with many having numerous attempts to improve their scores.
Many thanks to you all for your support and we hope to see you at the Denbigh Show at the end of August.
Also a very successful “Ball Drop” was carried out by the Rotary Club of Denbigh on the Saturday as part of the club’s support of the Denbigh Carnival.
A total of 411 tickets were sold where each ticket bought two numbered balls. A total of 822 balls were therefore placed in an excavator bucket and tipped out on Vale Street during the road closure for the Carnival parade and then allowed to find their way down as far a the Lidl store where one ball only was allowed into the winning bucket.
The winning ball was no. 0589 which was purchased in the name of Dafydd Baker. It is expected that the overall margin after costs will be just over £1,700 which will be shared between the Denbigh Carnival and Denbigh Juniors Football Club.
