Clwb Rotary Dinbych yn cynnal mini 'Rholio'r Gasgen,
Pleser o’r mwyaf oedd gweld Carnifal Dinbych yn cael ei gynnal unwaith eto ac i Glwb Rotary Dinbych allu cynnal ein mini Rholio’r Gasgen i blant a phobl ifanc yr ardal ac i ddarparu marsialiaid ar gyfer yr orymdaith.
Cymerodd dros 90 o ieuenctid ran gyda chystadleuwyr o bump i bymtheg mlwydd oed ac roedd rhai yn dod yn ôl yn gyson i geisio curo eu hamseroedd blaenorol. Roedd y rhan fwyaf o’r cystadleuwyr eisoes wedi gadael y cae erbyn i ni orffen ond aeth Ann ac Ifor o amgylch y saith ysgol a gynrychiolwyd ar ddydd Iau, 30ain Mehefin, gan ddosbarthu’r medalau Aur, Arian ac Efydd. Darparwyd tystysgrifau bach hefyd yn dangos enw a safle pob cystadleuydd fel y gallant eu cynnwys yn y cofnodion cyrhaeddiad pe dymunent.
Roedd y tywydd yn dda a chawsom ddiwrnod llwyddiannus a hwyl unwaith eto diolch i gymorth parod nifer fawr o’n haelodau.
Diolch yn fawr i chi gyd ac i'r bobl ifanc a gymerodd ran, ac yn enwedig i Ann ac Ifor am drefnu.
Rotary Club of Denbigh hold a mini 'Roll the Barrel'
It was a great pleasure to see the Denbigh Carnival taking place once again and for the Rotary Club of Denbigh to be able to stage our mini Roll the Barrel for the area’s youngsters and to provide marshals for the procession.
Over 90 youngsters took part with ages from five to fifteen and some kept coming back to try to beat their own previous times. Most of the competitors had already left the field when we finally closed down our stall but Ann and Ifor went around the seven schools represented on Thursday, 30th June, and handed out the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. Small certificates were also provided showing each competitor’s name and position so they can include them in records of achievement should they wish.
The weather was great and the event was another great success thanks to the willing help of a large number of our members.
Many thanks to you all and to the youngsters who took part, especially to Ann and Ifor for organising.
