Ambitious plans for N W Hospital

Cafodd yr aelodau a oedd yn bresennol nos Fawrth y 10fed o Ragfyr sgwrs ddiddorol ac addysgiadol iawn ar ddyfodol safle hanesyddol Ysbyty Gogledd Cymru yn Ninbych.

Ein siaradwr gwadd oedd yr ymgynghorydd cynllunio Cathryn Johnson, a roddodd gipolwg proffesiynol iawn i ni ar y cynlluniau ar gyfer datblygu'r safle, sydd bellach wedi'i gymryd drosodd gan Jones Bros o Rhuthun sydd ar hyn o bryd yn y broses o adeiladu canolfan hyfforddi ar y safle.

Dros y 10 mlynedd nesaf cynigir datblygu'r safle yn llawn i gynnwys fflatiau byw ofewn y prif adeilad rhestredig Gradd Dau, ynghyd a thai a safleoedd hamdden ar yr ardal ofewn y safle.

Members present on Tuesday evening the 10th of December were given a very interesting and informative talk on the future of the historic North Wales Hospital site at Denbigh.

Our guest speaker was planning consultant Cathryn Johnson, who gave us a very proffesional insight into the proposed plans for the development of the site, which has by now been taken over by Jones Bros of Ruthin who are at present in the process of building a training centre on the site.

Over the next 10 years it is proposed to fully develop the site to include accommodation apartments within the main Grade Two listed building, together with  further housing and recreational areas on the surrounding area within the site.
