Rotarians visit the Gym

Members from the Denbigh Rotary Club visited the Ruthin and Denbigh Gymnastics Club at their premises Clwyd House on the Colomendy Industrial Estate in Denbigh. on Tuesday 7th August.

They were treated to a superb gymnastic display by Lauren, Anya and Seren as Head Coach Tamsin Jones and Director Heather Clayton explained the history of the club and its current aims. The Club has a vision of Gymnastics for all and is a non-profit making company dedicated to the sport, currently catering for 550 individuals every week. Whilst the majority of pupils are children there is an adult class as well, with the aim of increasing fitness, learning new skills through a competent coaching programme, team work and encouraging young gymnasts to learn how to teach others. 

The enthusiasm of the sataff and pupils was obvious and enough to encourage Club President Kevin to give his own display on the parallel bars! - A very enjoyable and informative evening.

Ymwelodd aelodau o Glwb Rotary Dinbych â Chlwb Gymnasteg Rhuthun a Dinbych yn eu safle Clwyd House, ar Stad Ddiwydiannol Colomendy yn Ninbych, Ddydd Mawrth 7 Awst. 

Cawsant eu trin i arddangosfa gymnasteg gwych gan Lauren, Anya a Seren, tra esboniodd Prif Hyfforddwraig Tamsin Jones ah Chyfarwyddwr Heather Clayton hanes y clwb a'i nodau cyfredol. Mae gan y Clwb weledigaeth o Gymnasteg i bawb ac mae'n gwmni di-elw sy'n ymroddedig i'r gamp, ar hyn o bryd yn darparu ar gyfer 550 o unigolion bob wythnos. Er bod y mwyafrif o'r disgyblion yn blant, mae dosbarth oedolyn hefyd, gyda'r nod o gynyddu ffitrwydd, dysgu sgiliau newydd trwy raglen hyfforddi cymwys, gweithio mewn tîm ac annog cymnasteg ifanc i ddysgu sut i ddysgu eraill.

Roedd brwdfrydedd y staff a'r disgyblion yn amlwg ac yn ddigon i annog yr Arlywydd Rotari Kevin Roberts i roi ei arddangosfa ei hun ar y bariau cyfochrog! - Ymweliad pleserus ac addysgiadol iawn.
