Cafwyd noson bleserus ac addysgiadol iawn gan bawb a fynychodd daith o gwmpas Ffermydd Gwynt Clocaenog a Brenig.
Roedd aelodau Huw a Dilwyn wedi trefnu bws i'n casglu ni i gyd yn y Melin Brwcws er mwyn ein cludo'n ddiogel I, ac o gwmpas safleoedd adeiladu'r ddwy fferm wynt, lle cawsom gwpanaid o de neu goffi ac eistedd i lawr i gyflwyniad diddorol iawn gan Huw a'i gydweithwyr ynglŷn â'r holl broses o ddatblygu'r safle i baratoi ar gyfer gosod y tyrbinau gwynt mwy na'r arfer.
Yna cawsom daith o amgylch y ddau safle i weld y broses o baratoi y safleoedd ac hefyd i edrych ar strwythur enfawr y tyrbinau a'r offer a ddefnyddir i'w gosod. Roedd y sgwrs ar y bws yn ôl i Melin Brwcws am maint y weithrediadau sy'n digwydd yn y ddau safle yma.
Diolch i Huw a Dilwyn am drefnu noson mor ddiddorol.
A very enjoyable and informative evening was had by all who attended a trip around the new Clocaenog and Brenig Wind Farms.
Rotarians Huw and Dilwyn had arranged a bus to collect us all at the Brookhouse Mill to transport us safely to and around the construction sites of both wind farms, where on arrival we were given a cup of tea or coffee and sat down to a very informative presentation by Huw and his colleagues about the whole process of developing the site in preparation for fitting the larger than average wind turbines.
We were then given a conducted tour around both sites to witness the preparation process and also to look in awe at the enormous structure of the turbines and the equipment used to assemble them. The chatter on the bus back to the Brookhouse Mill for a meal was of the scale of operations going on at these two sites.
Thank you Huw and Dilwyn for organising such an interesting evening.
