Another very successful Roll The Barrel (RTB) event took place on Boxing day on Denbigh's high street. Being blessed this year with excellent weather, the crowds turned out in their hundreds.
Following the initial setting up at 9:00 am, the morning got off to an official start at 10:30 with a parade of a group of 20 vintage tractors. This was closely followed by the arrival of the Flint & Denbigh Hunt, who were following a nearly100 year old tradition of meeting at Denbigh on Boxing Day for the traditional Stirrup Cup.
Following their departure the main event of the day got off at around 11:00 am. There were 16 men's entries, 9 Ladies and three teams. Competitors included a father and son from Switzeland, a man from Australia, another from Ireland and a woman from Canada. In the junior section there were over 100 entries, who raced as individuals against the clock. Results as follows:

Our Bucket collection raised 138.67. Proceeds will go towards local charities. The raffle sales went well again this year, with the winners as follows:.

3rd. £100. Natasha Griffiths, Denbigh.
