Rotary 1180 Disabled Games 2016

Sunday 11th September - On a fantastic sunny morning, five Denbigh Rotarians (President Gwynfor, Gwynn, Hywel, Nigel and Elfed) set off to support the annual Rotary Disabled Games taking place at The Bank Of America grounds within the Chester Business Park.
First port of call of course was the Coffee shop, where an executive meeting took place over a cup of coffee to discuss the day's tactics (see first pic). The Denbigh team, together with the Liverpool Exchange Club team supported the Basketball challenge, where a steady stream of competitors, including a group from Denbigh Gateway, kept us busy throughout the day.
Although a tiring day, as always this is a very rewarding event seeing the excitement and enjoyment on the faces of the competitors, who all receive a medal of participation at the end of the day.
