Rotary Club of Denbigh at our local show
Once again this year The Rotary Club of Denbigh had a presence at the 2016 Denbigh Show, where we again manned one of the main entrance gates and also ran a Junior Roll The Barrel competition
In total, around 50 competitors (many of them taking Multiple go’s) attempted to be fastest around the course.Several of the eventual winners were visitors to the show from Further afield and we saw several rolling styles including rolling the barrel forward as normal, pushing it end over end, rolling sideways and rolling backwards!

Senior Boys:1st: Kian Evison, Shropshire,16.78sec; 2nd: Luke Jones, ,17.80s; 3rd: Tomos Tustain, Ysgol Brynhyfryd, 19.03s.
Senior Girls:1st: Mili Davies Ysgol Brynhyfryd,19.61sec; 2nd: Erin Williams Ysgol Brynhyfryd,21.61s.
Junior Boys:1st: Thomas Wenn, Yorkshire,19.46sec; 2nd: Evan Ardrey Ysgol Pen Barras,19.66s; 3rd: Tom Ysgol Frongoch,20.31s.
Junior Girls: 1st: Evie Price Ysgol Frongoch,19.22sec, 2nd: Bethan Thomas Ysgol Twm o'r Nant,19.66s; 3rd: Grace Williams Ysgol Twm o'r Nant,20.64s.
