A very successful Burns Night was held at the Brookhouse Mill on Tuesday the 26th of January, where a traditional Piper “piped” the traditional Scottish Haggis into the room, where it was then addressed by a true Scotsman before being taken away to be sliced and served with the traditional trimmings. A big thank you goes to the staff of the Brookhouse Mill for serving up such a wonderful traditional Burns supper.
The whole evening had a traditional Scottish feel to it where many club members took part to make the evening a wonderful success – thank you Hywel for not only the idea of holding a Burns Night, but for organising everything to run so smoothly.
