Chester Raft Race

The Rotary Club Of Denbigh will this year have an entry in this great event under the leadership of our Sports Officer, Hywel Watkin.

A brave group of Rotarians set off to test the raft on the Marine Lake, Rhyl - and yes, it floats

Yes, the big day came and off went seven brave crewe members of the Denbigh Rotary Club Rafft Team to Chester and the river Dee and yes it completed the course with flying colours - well done all.

All crewe members enjoyed the event as well as other member spectators

Crew members were as follows:

Hywel Watkin (Skipper), Walter Roberts, Kevin Roberts, Robin Williams, Alwyn Thomas, Gareth Foulkes and Tim Webb.
