Crown Bowls Evening
Crown Bowls Evening August 19th 2014
A crown bowls evening was held on Tuesday August 19th 2014 at the Lower Recreation Park, Denbigh. The weather during the day had been miserable with frequent heavy showers but as 6.00pm approached the clouds disappeared and the sun shone gloriously making it a perfect evening for playing bowls.
Five pairs played, not in an overall competition but against each other in the pair. Nobody claimed victory mainly, I suspect, because they lost count of the score!
