Mystery Tour in the Clwydian Hills April 2014
The photograph doesn't give you much idea of the activity undertaken during our weekly meeting on April 15th 2014! It was a fellowship meeting and David R. decided that we should have a mystery tour after our meal at Brookhouse Mill.
About 18 of us set out in four 4X4 vehicles and were taken on a tour along the narrowest roads in the Clwydian Hills to a lookout overlooking Liverpool Bay and Prestatyn, Rhyl, Abergele and the Little Orme. It was an interesting journey and although close to home for all of us, we went along roads unknown to the majority.
It is the first time, I think, that we have had a mystery tour. It was a great shame that we arrived at the viewpoint with only a few minutes of light left. The A55 from above looked resplendent with all its lights on!
