Rotary Youth Leader Award (RYLA)
Our 2013 RYLA student gives a presentation to the club. January 2014
On Tuesday, January 20th club members heard a presentation from our RYLA student, Connor Shakespeare. The club sponsored Connor to go on the youth leadership course at Arthog near Dolgellau last August. Connor described the week long course and said that he had thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had gained a great from the course, not least to learn more about himself. They were given mental and physical challenges and all had the experience of developing leadership skills. Above all they were encouraged to develop a spirit of co-operation amongst the members of the team.
