Members are the bed rock of the Rotary International. The most successful humanitarian projects are often those in which Rotarians themselves take part by using their vocational and organisational skills to help improve the lives of others.
Clubs are always seeking to attract people into membership and one way is to invite interested people to an awareness evening to give them an insight into club membership.
At the club meeting on October 16th 2012, membership chairman R. Gwyrfai Jones, used a number of short Rotary video presentations to tell the story of how Rotarians are working for the benefit of their own communities and communities overseas. He followed this up by asking club members to read a short statement about the advantages of Rotary membership.
There were three interested people at the meeting who can be seen with President Elfed on the photograph. It is now up to the three to consider what they have learnt about Rotary, perhaps come to more of our ordinary meetings and then decide if Rotary is for them.
