Never mind it happens every year to a different part of the world. Watch out for future exchanges and try again.
Arrangements are in hand for an Exchange with District 7530 for the spring/early summer of 2007. Provisionally we expect their team to arrive in our District from West Virginia on or about 14th April and to stay until 12th May. Our team will then leave for West Virginia with them on the 12th May and stay there until on or about 9th June.
Rotarian John Neale from the Rotary Club of Southport Links has been selected to lead the team going to West Virginia. The four team members will be chosen at a selection day at Chester University (formerly Chester College) on Sunday 13th August 2006. Applications are now invited from suitable candidates from around the District to make up the team. All applicants should be between the age range of 25 – 40 years, living or working within District 1180 and be employed full time in a recognized business or profession. They must not be related to a current Rotarian or anyone who has been a Rotarian in the past three years. If any member of your club knows of a suitable candidate for this Exchange please encourage them to apply. Application forms can be downloaded from www.rotary.org or can be obtained from the District Group Study Exchange Chairman. Completed application forms should be forwarded to the 2006/07 District Group Study Exchange Chairman David Barton from the Rotary Club of Garston, to reach him no later than Friday 7th July 2006
2007/08 Exchange with New Zealand
Provisional arrangements are in hand to arrange an Exchange with District 9910 in the North Island of New Zealand. The dates for the visit to New Zealand have not yet been settled but it is thought that it will be in the April/May period of 2008. Completed application forms should be submitted to the 2006/07 District Group Study Exchange Chairman David Barton from the Rotary Club of Garston, to reach him no later than 1st July 2006.
