Details of the Vocational Committee
The Vocational Committee provide leadership in vocational standards.
They do this in a number of ways including organising nominees for the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Scheme which is an Annual event held in mid-Wales bringing young people together for leadership and confidence building, the Youth Speaks Awards is a competition between teams from local schools and colleges in public speaking, which include the award of the Farlam Shield and the Young Chef of the Year Award in co-operation with Coleg Menai.
They also nominate to the Club a local person for the annual "Rotary Award". This award is presented to members of the local community who, in the view of the Club, deserve recognition for their help in the local community, outside of their normal work and who have not been recognised in any other way.
