Bwani Junction return with their joyful rendition of Paul Simon's Graceland album. Featuring a full 12-piece band. Support comes from Davie Luhanga and Tilitose, playing Afro-rhythmic soul from Malawi.

Davie enjoying the open air - sitting somewhere near the Salisbury Crags.

Davie Luhanga played at the fundraising concert for Steka earlier this year. Anyone who heard him will want to hear him again, and here's a chance in the Fringe and those Portobello Rotary  members and friends who can manage it are sure to be there! We'll be going on Thursday 17th August. It's at the Liquid Rooms, 9c Victoria Street, EH1 2HE,  7.30pm start, but suggest meeting at 6.45pm and remember, as Davie says, wear comfortable shoes, we'll inevitably be dancing!

This is what Davie writes: "Hi guys , some good news have now set up a Band it's called TILITOSE which means (we are together). Will be launching it in August fringe Festival as an opening act for the Graceland gigs by Bwani Junction. The Venue is Liquid Rooms, all the gigs will be starting 7:30pm . And if you don't know about Bwani Junction, you've got a treat in store: "After sell-out shows at last year's Fringe and Celtic Connections festivals, Bwani Junction return with their joyful rendition of Paul Simon's Graceland album.
