Charity car boot sale at Newcraighall

Portobello car boot sales are great fun and can start really early on a Sunday morning - but there's usually a Rotarian there from about 6.30am - which is hard on a Sunday! That allows plenty of time to get ready, because buyers tend to come from about 9am.

Sellers pay £10 per car, which provides a generous two car park space; buyers don't pay anything at all, and everyone gets a nice, friendly welcome.

There's normally a tea and coffee van, but there is no toilet on site right now. The club is working on this challenge, but it hasn't been resolved as yet.

Please come: it's a great way to spend a Sunday morning, a great way to declutter if you're a seller, and who knows what you may find? Every car boot sale is always different!
