Abergele Christmas Float

The Abergele Christmas Float is one of Abergele Rotary’s best-known community projects, bringing some festive cheer to communities across the area while raising money for local causes.

Each year, the Float visits towns, villages and neighbourhoods around Abergele and the surrounding area, with Santa joining us along the way.

The project is made possible by the support of Rotary members, local organisations, volunteers and community groups who give their time to help make each evening happen.

Get involved

We are currently inviting community groups, sports clubs and other local organisations to get involved with the Christmas Float.

Groups can help by supporting an evening route, providing volunteers to assist with collections, helping Santa and the Float team, and supporting the safe running of the event.

It is a great opportunity to support the local community, raise the profile of your organisation and be part of one of Abergele’s festive traditions.

2026 routes and dates

Planning for the 2026 Abergele Christmas Float is currently underway.

Routes, dates and meeting points are still being finalised, and we will publish full details for members of the public once arrangements have been confirmed.
