Santa comes to Willaston
Every year Santa comes to the lights switch on then travels around the village.
Christmas lights switch on in Willaston
We get around 500 people attending this, our biggest fund raiser of the year.
Donating to Maggies 2024
Maggies Centre at Clatterbridge do an amazing service to local cancer sufferers to make their lives a little easier.
Human fruit machine
This always attracts a crowd. It is a great publicity tool and raises money at the same time!
Purple4Polio cake sale 2020
Every year in October Rotary International raises money towards eradicating polio from the world. This was our contribution.
Quiz night 2022
Our annual quiz night is always popular, and raises money for our charities.
Village planters
We designed the planters, one for each of two village signs and Willaston Community Farm kindly made them for us. We plant fresh plants every spring and autumn.
Book sale
We hold regular second hand book sales on the green during the summer. This helps to keep up our profile in the village and raises some money for charity.
