ROTARY YOUNG CHEF COMPETITION 2018
On 14th November The Rotary Club of St Ives held the first stage of the Rotary GB&I Young Chef Competition 2018-19 at St Ives School. Students who entered were expected to create a 3 course healthy meal for 2 people, costing less than £15, in 2 hours. In addition they were asked to supply a detailed time plan and a list of ingredients with costings.
This was a challenging task to undertake but the students really rose to the occasion and enjoyed interacting with the judging panel as they monitored every stage of the competition and gave advice, re-assurance and a great deal of positive encouragement.
Mike Hicks President of the Rotary Club of St Ives presented each student with a Certificate and Prize.
