Here are some of the photos
of the Chernobyl Childrens visit on Tuesday 17th June. There were 11 children
(aged 8 to 14) and one interpreter as well as some of the Edinburgh hosts (organiser Sharleen Gilles) and several
members of North Berwick Rotary Club.

They had lunch at the seabird centre, a chance to operate the remote control cameras on the Bass and see the puffin film in the cinema.Since Sula had engine problems (ie no engine!), the children were very lucky to go round the Bass Rock on the new high speed "Seabird Seafari" all dressed up (engulfed) in the special yellow and blue waterproof suits. This was undoubtedly the highlight of the day for the children, some of whom had never seen the sea before coming to Scotland! On their return the sun came out and they enjoyed paddling on the beach till it was time to get back on the minibus for Edinburgh.
