The Furniture for Families Project is re-launching in 2022.
The Furniture for Families Project provides furniture and household items to families in need within our service areas - Motherwell, Wishaw, Bellshill and Larkhall.
The project will now run in a different way moving forward, providing vouchers for Clients to take to a designated Charity Shop to purchase the items they require for their homes.
The Charity Shop we are partnered with is -
· British Heart Foundation 48-52 Brandon Parade South
Merry Street, Motherwell ML1 1LY
To be referred to the project Clients should approach one of our Community Partners -
· Craigneuk Life-Long Learning Centre, Glasgow Road, Wishaw - phone 07856 999714
· Orbiston Community Centre, Busby Road, Bellshill – phone 01698 842215
Client information is kept confidential with the referral organisation. The Rotary Club of Motherwell & Wishaw Furniture for Families Co-ordinators are only used to provide the service for families in need.
While monetary donations are gratefully received for the project, we no longer accept furniture donations but our charity shop partner above may accept donations of furniture and electrical goods.
