Skipton Rotary Club
For nearly one hundred years Rotary in Skipton has been involved in local, national and international community projects, volunteering and fundraising while at the same time having fun and socialising as a group. Like most Rotary Clubs, we meet once a week. For further details about our meeting venue, when we meet and how to find us, please see the information in the side panel. You can also follow us @skiptonrotary on Facebook, Instagram, X and even perhaps Linkedin.
Fun & Friendship
Skipton Rotary is a friendly club where we have as much fun as possible working together to make a positive difference to people’s lives within the community. We hope that the lives of the volunteers who join us will be enriched as they take part in a range of fundraising, formal and informal social events, visits and even foreign travel, forming friendships, by volunteering their expertise and often discovering new talents and interests.
Fundraising & Volunteering
We undertake a variety of fundraising events including weekend and bank holiday car parking at Skipton Building Society, quizzes, concerts, bicycle recycling auction, Dragon Boat racing, Christmas Market stalls, as well as many annual fundraisers.
Get Involved
Our members volunteer their time and skills to plan fundraising and social events while enjoying each other’s company and friendship. There are several ways you can help us to ensure everything runs smoothly and to make the most of opportunities to raise money for the various charities we support.

Sometimes we need an extra pair of hands when running our various events. If you can help, please get in touch. You could be asked to do anything from stewarding an event, help run our weekly charity car park in town, helping to erect a marquee to planting crocus bulbs to promote the campaign for polio eradication. Whatever you can do we would like to hear from you!
