Would you like to help us help your local community in Melton & surrounding villages?
DetailsWe were formed in 2011, initially as a breakfast club but now meet in the evening. Our ages range from 30-somethings to “rather not says” though the majority of our members are still in employment. We have a fairly even mix of male and female Rotarians, all focussed on helping in the local area.
Our focus has always been on supporting local charities and causes in Melton and the surrounding villages and over the years we have developed strong links with local groups. In addition we have also supported causes further afield where there is a particularly strong contact with our club members.
We have changed our meeting times & frequencies to allow more people to enjoy the friendship and fellowship of the club. Meetings take place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, in the evening, at the Hamilton Tennis club from 7.15pm.
On any month with a 5th Wednesday we have an informal social event. Details can be found on the Calendar.
We are keen to attract more people of all ages who like to support their local community whilst also having fun.
Still uncertain about committing yourself? As from Jan 2020 we are admitting Associate Members, which is an excellent way of joining in with our activities without the commitment of full membership.
If you are interested about finding out more about our club or about Rotary in general, or would like to come along to one of our meetings, then please contact us using the link at the foot of the page.
