About us

The ROTARY CLUB OF BLACKBURN has brought together people from all walks of life since it was granted its charter in 1921. We are certain that all have been better for it.

As a club we value the part we play within our own town and community and we feel proud of our name in the history of Blackburn.
Our Rotary International theme of "Rotary opens opportunities" underlines our outlook. Rotarians of different race, creed and custom, when brought together in fellowship, play an important part in breaking down prejudice and developing true international understanding.
